A Doula for Tetbury Mothers
Birth and traditional postpartum support, across the Cotswolds.
The mothers I meet in Tetbury often arrive prepared, well-read, and clear about the birth they want. The early weeks at home are still where many of them realise what bespoke postpartum care actually offers.
This is where the work goes deepest.Three core packages.
Three different shapes of support. Where to begin depends on where you are now and what feels right.

The Charting
Map. Navigate. Prepare. Evidence-based education designed to move you from uncertainty to clarity as you transition into parenthood.

The Odyssey
Trust. Release. Recover. A steady presence offering deep preparation, birth attendance, and postnatal sanctuary across your full journey.

The Sacred Pause
Stop. Breathe. Heal. Traditional postpartum care providing the village, nourishment, and wisdom for your First 40 Days.
I trained as a doula after after I'd survived without one.
Before training as a doula I'd spent six years teaching in secondary schools, with an earlier stretch as cabin crew. The postpartum of my first son, and the death of my own mother during those same weeks, set me on this path.
The word matrescence - the developmental shift of becoming a mother - gave language to what I'd lived. I trained as a doula soon after. I work with mothers across Tetbury, the Cotswolds, and the wider South West.
The care that quietly walks alongside.
Many of the mothers I meet in Tetbury have done significant preparation by the time we meet. They've researched, read, taken classes, talked to friends. What doula support adds, alongside all that, is the quiet of being known. Of someone present in your home when the books no longer answer the question. That presence is the heart of the work.
When the work is smaller, more focused.
Not every mother begins with a full package. Some come for a single ceremony, or one overnight, or a session of bodywork months on.
Night Doula
Overnight care from 9pm to 7am, designed to maximise your sleep and support your physical healing in the weeks after birth.
DetailsThe Return
A safe space to come back to yourself after the intense outward pouring of motherhood. Traditional wrapping, bodywork, and compassionate listening.
DetailsClosing Ceremonies
Marking transitions: the end of pregnancy, birth, loss, or the closing of a chapter. A ceremonial, held space where every mother feels seen.
Details"She held space for me in such a gentle, grounding way. She listened with compassion, which made me feel safe, supported, and seen during one of the most tender times of my life."Beth, mother of three
